This was a last minute booking for me – on my only weekend free for quite a while – but I gladly gave it up to help out this fun couple. Britney and Daniel were a very fun couple to shoot and their little family was perfect. During the wedding ceremony after Daniel placed the ring on Britney’s finger, he placed a ring on her daughter’s finger as well. That has got to be the sweetest thing I’ve ever seen! You’ve got yourself a keeper, Britney! Here’s some of the fun we had this evening:

Gymboree Play and Music in Baton Rouge held their Winter Wonderland Holiday Party this past weekend. In addition to portraits I took of each kid with Gymbo, I took a TON of photos of these kids playing. They had such a blast and their laughter and happiness was contagious. Even my little girl had a blast climbing all over everything despite her many petticoats and poofy dress (which she was absolutely adorable in). These kids really love Gymboree, so if you aren’t taking your kid, look into it! Here’s a little bit of the action:

I did Dom’s Christmas card pictures simultaneously with the triplets’ pictures below. This little man knows how to work the camera for me. Just look at those eyes! One of his Christmas card pictures is displayed, but his mommy already posted it on Facebook, so I should be good posting it here. Look at this gorgeous little boy:

Brandy and Traci asked me to take Christmas photos of their three absolutely amazing kids Arden, Brock and Colin. Although getting a set of triplets to look at the camera all at the same time is quite a challenge, we had fun. Reindeer antlers, trains, monster trucks, and “rockin’ out” were the topics of conversation today. I had a blast with these three and really hope to work with these gorgeous kids in the future. Here’s some of what we did:

Not only am I a photographer and mommy, but I’m also really involved with the youth at our church. My husband is the guitarist/part-time keyboardist and I used to sing before our little one was born. We both teach Sunday school and help out with whatever is going on at our church.

This Friday, Dec. 4th, we’re having a Youth Rally. Today our kids rehearsed for the big day. If you’re in the Plaquemine area and need something to do on Friday night – 7:00, come to Abundant Life on the corner of Main and Bayou. This post is just for fun. My husband and I got to church a little early this morning, and this is the view that greeted us across the bayou. It was so beautiful that I couldn’t help but take a few shots, especially since I had all my gear for afternoon photo shoots. Here’s a look at how gorgeous it is:

In addition to taking photos of his business, Dr. Ben asked me to take some photos of their family. Although he has a slew of pictures of his adorable little girl, they haven’t had any taken of his little boy – until now! Here we are still at the lovely Isabelle Inn enjoying the warm fall weather. Mr. Bonz even made an appearance and had his picture taken for family portraits.

Dr. Ben and the awesome ladies at the Breaux Bridge Chiropractic clinic asked me to do some photos for their Christmas cards and coming-soon Web site. We headed out to the Isabelle Inn (where I did the Landry family photos), to see what we could get into. The idea was professional, yet natural. What do you think? Did we get it right?

Nichole and I went to high school together way back when and she asked if I’d be their photographer. Of course I had to say yes! We went out to an amazing old strawberry farm and had a blast before heading to downtown Hammond. We even had a brief stop in the restaurant where they had their first date. Everyone in the area MUST go to Tommy’s on Thomas, the people there are AMAZING!!

Michelane and Caleb are no strangers to me or this blog, for that matter. They decided they wanted to take pictures for their Christmas cards at the new dog park at the Burbank BREC park. It is an awesome place, so if you have a dog and are in the area, be sure to check it out. Bosco, Zoie and Oatie had a blast basking and playing in the afternoon sun and even my little one jumped in some pictures with Nannie and Parain. Here’s some of the fun we had:
