Dog-Gone Fun {Baton Rouge Area Couple Photographer}

November 15, 2009

Michelane and Caleb are no strangers to me or this blog, for that matter. They decided they wanted to take pictures for their Christmas cards at the new dog park at the Burbank BREC park. It is an awesome place, so if you have a dog and are in the area, be sure to check it out. Bosco, Zoie and Oatie had a blast basking and playing in the afternoon sun and even my little one jumped in some pictures with Nannie and Parain. Here’s some of the fun we had:

Landry Family {Breaux Bridge Area Family Photographer}

November 14, 2009

Little baby Cohen is right around a month and Nikki and Kelly asked me to do some photos of this handsome little man and their gorgeous family in time for Christmas. We went to the beautiful Isabelle Inn in Breaux Bridge right up the road from our houses (which Kelly’s family used to own). It is so pretty there and we took advantage of the lovely grounds and interior.  Little Cohen was so tired he went straight to sleep after the last shot was snapped. Here’s a snapshot of our morning.

Renee is Getting Her Masters! {Mandeville Area Graduation Photographer}

November 7, 2009

Renee is graduating with her Masters from Southeastern in December and contacted me to do some fun photos for her. This awesome girl was not only game for anything I conjured up, but even drove to Baton Rouge from Mandeville coz I had two other shoots in Baton Rouge today. Her fun attitude and contagious smile made this on of my favorite sessions, by far. She’s looking to start an event planning company when she’s finished with school, so if you need something, look her up!

Bugea Family Touchdown {Baton Rouge Area Family Photographer}

November 7, 2009

Charlie has been on here before, and here he is for another of surely many more to come. We had a great time visiting LSU’s campus this weekend to get some festive and school-spirit-filled photos. The theme of their Christmas cards? You guessed it – a purple and gold Christmas. Here’s a sample of the fun I had with Charlie, Mommy, Daddy and baby brother (who will be making his appearance Spring 2010) Bugea:

Dawn’s Graduating {New Orleans Area Graduation Photographer}

November 1, 2009

Dawn and I went to high school together and reconnected when we both worked at Alli and Luke’s wedding (she was the videographer, so if you need one, book her). She is graduating from the University of New Orleans in film in a couple of weeks and asked me to do a senior session for her to commemorate the occassion. We had a ball running around the French Quarter, which was surprisingly packed. Here’s a look at what we got:

Grantham Family {Lake Charles Area Family Photographer}

October 25, 2009

After Laura’s church wedding and reception (see previous post) I had the opportunity to do a few family pictures. They didn’t turn out quite as anticipated coz when you get a set of triplets and an energetic little boy all under the age of 4 at the end of a very busy day, getting them to sit still is next to impossible. But, these kids were so adorable that they gave me many pictures of booger picking and funny faces. It doesn’t get more real than that, people!

Amilla and Nikki {Baton Rouge Area Children’s Photographer}

September 20, 2009

Amilla is a sweetheart and I had the opportunity to take pictures of her and her gorgeous mommy Nikki. Daddy Tony wasn’t able to join us, but we’ll be doing another session to get some daddy-daughter photos soon. Here’s a sneak peek of these two gorgeous ladies!

Abby, Jack and Liam {Church Point Area Children’s Photographer}

August 21, 2009

Abby, Jack and Liam ran around and had fun while I chased after them and managed to get a few shots. These kids are amazing and full of energy – especially little Jack. I look forward to working with them again in the future! I love these kids!

Baby Dom {Lake Charles Area Children’s Photographer}

August 13, 2009

My old friend Laura, who I haven’t seen in years, brought over her adorable little boy for the first of our kids’ regular playdates. This little guy was so happy playing in the jumperoo that I couldn’t help but grab a few shots. Not only do I look forward to our playdates, but I look forward to shooting Laura’s church wedding/blessing of their elopement a few years back in October.

Here’s a couple of little Dominic having an absolute  blast!

Now Serving the Lafayette Area! {Southern Louisiana Area Photographer}

August 7, 2009

Due to a recent relocation, I will now (hopefully) be doing a lot of work in Lafayette/Southwestern Louisiana area. Not that I wouldn’t do work out there before, just the opportunity rarely came up. And, I will still be happy to do work in Baton Rouge and New Orleans. I’m a flexible woman.

Also, you may have noticed that there have been some changes in logo/layout/etc. Soon, the website will be completely redone, and I’ll have new business cards and sell sheets. Bear with me and feel free to give feedback.

I want to expand my portfolio to include more work, so if you’re in need of a photographer for anything, I’d be happy to do it. One area that I would like to expand into is the first precious moments of a family after the birth of a child. So, if you or anyone that you know feels that those sweet memories should be captured in a creative and artistic fashion, please let me know!

And, it has been a crazy past 6 months and I can’t believe how time has flown, so I will share the cuteness that is my favorite frequent model.
