This Mothers’ Day weekend I had the joy of taking family photos for this beautiful family. They’re all so full of life and energy and were an absolute blast to work with! Happy Mothers’ Day, Jen! And Happy Mothers’ Day to all the moms everywhere. Kick back, relax, crack open a good book or Kindle app and take a break. Is it just in this house, or does that only last for about 2 seconds until it’s right back to normal?

Elemeno-Pee Grand Opening/ The Great Cloth Diaper Change

I had the privledge of photographing a small part of history recently. On April 23rd, parents around the world gathered together in set locations to change their babies into cloth diapers to set the record for the most babies changed into cloth diaper simultaneously. This is going in Guinness, people! My  youngest even got to participate in this wonderful event (we’re a cloth diapering families ourselves). If you’re interested in cloth diapering, babywearing, natural parenting, or anything of the like, be sure to check out Elemeno-pee. They’re truly a tremendous resource!

Junebug is Six Months!

I cannot believe that this little girl is already six months. It seems like yesterday I was preparing to photograph her birth (she came quickly and early and was born safely at home before I could make it) and taking her one week pictures. She is an angel and got tuckered out playing dress up for her photo shoot today. Look closely at her eyes, they’re hazel with a beautiful and unique brown mark.

Bear With Me, Please!

I know that I have been slow getting back pictures and working on responding to correspondence. But I promise there is a good reason! The newest photographer in training decided that he wanted to come early – pretty early. Things have just now started to calm down and I don’t see any more hospital stays or visits for the near future. That means that I am now starting to get back into the swing of things and playing an insane amount of catchup. So, bear with me, please, as I juggle life with a business, a toddler, and a premie. It gets a little hectic at times, but I’m working on it.

Thanks so much for all the support and business – I appreciate more than you know.
