Here are some black and white shots of the fabulous couple. The husband’s favorite is the ice cream cone. What’s yours?

I got to do Alli and Luke’s engagements today at the Riverwalk/Aquarium in New Orleans. Alli and I went to high school together, and it was great to catch up with her. I had a blast working with these two, and even though it was difficult to get Luke to laugh, I think we got some really great shots. Here are the colors…

To celebrate my little one’s three-month birthday and her Nannie’s 22nd birthday, I took pictures of the two of them together. Two birds (and birthdays!) with one stone, my friend. The weather was horrible, and little miss wasn’t feeling well and was fighting her sleep. But, we pushed through and got some cute shots out of it. And Nannie Michelane was a trooper, she got spit-up on and yelled at the whole time – a little taste of motherhood! She might look familiar, I took pictures of her and her boyfriend a few years back and did her sister Cassie’s wedding last year. I could link to those pictures, but I’m not sure how.
But here are some of the birthday pictures:

Be on the look out for Allie and Luke’s engagement photo soon. The two are set to get married this October and we finally got around to scheduling their session. It’s sure to be a blast!

I am now back to shooting and itching to get behind the camera again. So, if you’re interested in a photo shoot for engagements, weddings, families, you name it, I’ll be happy to oblige. The crew (the husband I drag along and make carry the equip and myself) can’t wait to get out and work for you!
And, I’ll be slowly updating stuff including the website – which has lain dormant going almost a year (yikes!) - so bear with me as I do that while taking care of the babe.

Things have been quite crazy here as our own little future photographer – or at least frequent model – has arrived. Here is a sample of her most recent photoshoot with Daddy. She won’t be venturing out at photoshoots, so her cuteness will be missed for any future events. But, here’s a sample of her good looks now. Little miss looks just like Daddy, but has my eyebrows – at least that’s something.

No, I haven’t fallen off the face of the earth or stopped taking pictures. With my 8-6ish job and new developments, things have been quite busy in the camp over here. Fret not, though. There are plenty of things in the works which will grace this little blog soon enough. However, to actually update this here thing… I shall provide a few snap shots from our most recent trip to Natchez.
The husband surprised me (quite some time ago from the actual writing of this) with an anniversary getaway/babymoon. That’s right, there is a new photographer getting prepped to be born. I shan’t reveal any other details aside from the fact that we’re thrilled. So, if you book anytime in the near future, don’t worry about me as I waddle my way around the shoot!
To the pictures… The plantation house is the house we stayed in
and if anyone wants to get married at that church, please contact me! I would love to do something there!

I met Dwight and Andrea at City Park for an early morning engagement shoot before Andrea had to go to work. They were an easy couple to work with… except for when Dwight almost endangered himself on the swings. The wedding is scheduled for next April, and I can’t wait to work with these two again.

After many attempts at rescheduling, we were finally able to get together for the first session of their engagement shoot. Will, in an effort to entertain himself, was absolutely hilarious the whole time.

I haven’t been completely absent from working. On the contrary, I’ve been working on Brittany and Will’s engagements for their spring wedding next year. However, whenever I am actually at home to upload them, WordPress gives me fits and doesn’t let me upload the pictures. Bear with me, they will be up soon!

Not only did my cousin-in-law get a bunch of free senior pictures, but she also had me as her personal photographer for her graduation. The Acadiana Prep School graduation ceremony consisted of all of 12 people and took about an hour. It was a stark difference from my class of 200+. Here are a couple of shots of the day. I just love Molly’s face as JoJo is fixing her cap!
